My family background is Chinese and my parents can only speak very broken English. They drive me mental because instead of learning English they just use me as an interpreter all the time! The house we moved into was already wired with an alarm system and they had asked me to call around and find the best price. Not easy because companies won't give you quotes over the phone. I gave up and gave my parents the numbers to call themselves. They told me that most companies just hung up on them or kept them on hold because they couldn't understand them. 
Grand Alarms was one of the places they had called. At first they struggled to speak with the person who answered but they were put on hold. A woman named Vicky came on the phone speaking Mandarin. My parents were so relieved-- a nice change from frustrated. She was really nice they said. They booked the activation no problem. They even sent a guy who spoke Mandarin to show them how to use it. I was there that day and was really impressed. I asked how many languages they work with. The guy said a whole list. I only remember a few he said but they were Cantonese, Russian, Persian, Italian etc. I would recommend them. You would think we had more businesses like this in Ontario.

I'm only writing here as I've had so many friends and neighbors ask me about my alarm system as I live close to a public housing area. They had never heard of Grand Alarms and to be honest neither had I. It was installed from the previous owners who were moving out of the country when I bought the house.
